"Fairy Twang" from The Jonny Keigwin Band's "Goodbye Love"
Matt Montgomery displays his multi-instrumental abilities to the max with this ensemble. On this particular record he recorded violins, violas, electric guitars, mandolin, and accordion. On "Fairy Twang", Matt plays several layers of violin to create a haunting texture, as well a fiddle played in a gritty gypsy style. This was recorded at Ethan Turner's "Owl Mountain Studios" in Inverness, CA. Matt has recorded countless sessions at this studio with Ethan, who often refers to him as "The Swiss Army Knife".
